Creature types vary from faction to faction, but follow a fairly general path (level 1 creatures are weak, level 2 slightly better, all the way up to level 5 'elite' creatures). Castle types are also built up in a similar manner but with certain unique twists. For instance, certain factions might have more warrior based heros vs magic based. Ia in 5 is even dumber than in 3. In fact if you don't download a mod it's absurd:it can spends two weeks geting in and out of a portal or a boat, and It will just suicide atracking a town. If you play against many Ia players you have to wait a lot, it's slow af. I believe the "Human or Computer teams" option in the map generator allows teams, though you can't control it much, IIRC. That or I don't rememeber how to do it. -Tools -> Map specifications (or Ctrl+Enter) -> Teams -> Enable Teams -> set teams how you like them. OK, so it seems if I set eg. HoMM 1. I've only played a beta from Might & Magic Heroes 6, but from what I seen I think it's worse that HoMM 5. HoMM 1 it's a much simplified HoMM 2. The same cartoonish graphics, but only 4 towns/races: Knight, Barbarian, Sorceress and Warlock. Only primary skills (Attack, Defense, Power Spell and Knowledge). New to HoMM, should I start with 3 or 5? I've enjoyed King's Bounty and Disciples II, but for some reason never got around to playing HoMM. After doing some research, it seems that most fans agree HoMM3 is the best in the series, and HoMM5 is similar and a good game also. Homm 2, 3 and 4 were and still are amazing. 5 & 6 are not bad, but not as amazing as the earlier ones (probably because they sold out to Ubisoft). Age of wonders because I am an age of wonders fan. Later had a blast with MMH 6, playing the Necropolis faction. Release Date. 13 May 2008 – 07:00:00 UTC (16 years ago) Store Hub PCGW Patches. 😋 84.63%. ↑2,948 ↓405. 317. In-Game. Witness the amazing evolution of the genre-defining strategy game as it becomes a next-generation phenomenon, melding classic deep fantasy with next-generation visuals and gameplay. In the renowned Might & Magic universe I would put 5 ahead of 2. There's really no reason to play 2 once you have 3, 3 is basically just 2 plus a lot more of everything. There are more differences between 3 and 5, even if 3 #1 I have 5 (I don't have 3)and am wondering what it is about the two games that makes many people say that 3 is so much better. The one thing that I don't like about 5 is that you don't really know what you should do, but if you don't do things the way they should be done there is little chance of winning. 9trvMZB.
