Re: C4 Steering Wheel Controls. Part number 6239RC. It is the same as the original, Its a Valeo unit. The same buttons didn't work on the original, apart from Cruise which now works fine. Thanx to Marc and all the admins & knowledgeable people that make this the best forum on the interweb.
Assuming you checked the washer fluid level, turn your key to on and press the washer button. You should hear the pump buzzing. If you do, and you now have a small puddle of water under the car, the fuse and pump are ok and you have a cracked or broken water line to the nozzles. If you don't, the pump may be bad, It's rarely the fuse.
The replacement screen in my car has remained working 100% through cold weather and plenty of use. Everytime I unlock the car I do still hold my breathe for a moment and check the screen illuminates correctly! I know Citroen were trying to find another solution (rather than screen part replacement).
Once your phone is connected via Bluetooth on your car, starting the application should connect Android auto to your Citroen C4. If this connection does not work, try to connect it first in USB (ignition on) and then activate Bluetooth afterwards; I don’t have a compatible screen on my Citroen C4 but I still want to benefit from Android Auto:
Colin Stickland. 22516 Answers. SOURCE: glow plugs. awkard job but easy to do and remember the old adage if its in the way remove it ,remove the long communial wire then take the heaters out which is either a 12mm or 13 mm deep socket depends on make of glow plugs as to the size. The problem. Many Citroen C4 and C5 owners have experienced a problem with the heater blower not working properly. Owners may experience an intermittent heater blower fan, on one or more of the speed settings, or the fan may not work all, or only on full power, or may be stuck on full power.
The screen does not go pass the splash screen. Sometimes I can hear music playing, the buttons light up, but cannot select anything. Cannot find how to do a manual reboot/reset.
Hello all, I've just bought my first Citroen, the C4 1.6 HDi 16v Coupe (92) and I'm really impressed. The only problem I have is that the LCD screen that displays the radio information etc is not working correctly - nothing is readable and most times it only shows about 3 or 4 "pixels" although it is still back-lit!!
Cheers for that. I did read about this resistor in another thread. I'd like diagnose the fault rather than just start swapping things over. I'll see if I can find any clues from the Citroen service website next. A wiring diagram would be useful. Then I can work out which bits haven't got power that should have.
